Meet The Team
The team behind Oxford Retirement & Estate Planning is made up of qualified financial professionals who are passionate about helping individuals and families achieve their ideal retirements.
Michael Oxford Founder, Wealth Advisor
Michael Oxford began his career in the financial service industry in 1980, at the age of 21, working for Mutual of Omaha. Four years later, he set out on his own as an independent insurance producer, with his focus on helping retirees. In July 1997, he founded Oxford Retirement & Estate Planning, Inc. (OREP). In 2007, Michael passed the Series 65 securities exam, and he has since added an array of investment options to his repertoire, allowing him the ability to be diversified in all aspects of retirement and income planning.
As an Investment Adviser Representative, Michael seeks out high-quality solutions both in the investment markets as well as insurance products. His experience includes wealth and risk management, IRA and income planning, strategic tax planning, long-term care and charitable planning.
Michael puts a strong emphasis on educating retirees and pre-retirees and holds several adult financial workshops at the local community colleges. He offers follow-up complimentary coaching sessions for all who attend. In addition, he offers complimentary consultations to those individuals who have not attended a workshop but would like a personal one-on-one meeting. Michael’s main objective is to help those who are nearing retirement make informed financial decisions.
Michael lives in Glendale, Arizona, with his wife, Sherri. They have two beautiful daughters, Brittany and Paige. Michael enjoys hiking; relaxing at their family cabin in Prescott, Arizona; and salmon fishing in Canada and Alaska every summer. He is very active in the community and previously served as president of the Arizona Cowboy Mounted Shooters Association and on the Grand Canyon chapter of the American Red Cross Board of Directors. He is also an avid supporter of several local charities, one of which is St. Mary’s Food Bank. Since 2011, OREP has collected tens of thousands of pounds of food donations for St. Mary’s as well as orchestrated several volunteer groups to donate their time to work at the food bank alongside Michael and his staff.

Austin Fetch, CFP® Wealth Advisor
Austin Fetch is a Wealth Advisor & self-branded “Resident Nerd” at Oxford Retirement & Estate Planning (OREP). He started in the finance industry as an intern at Ameriprise Financial in 2014 at 20 years old. His responsibilities began with simply bringing the filing system digital but grew quickly to include portfolio design & management as well as holistic financial planning for many clients. When he moved to Arizona, he took a position at Charles Schwab where he helped design streamlined training material and information systems for new professionals. Shortly before leaving, he was awarded the Chairman’s Club award in-part for his work transitioning team members to working from home during the pandemic.
Austin has always had an emphasis on education in the field of finance, starting with himself. He started by obtaining a Bachelor of Science with three majors: Finance, Accounting, & Business Administration. This made him the first in his lineage to graduate with a 4-year degree. He passed two separate, lengthy, securities licensing exams to become an Investment Advisor Representative (IAR). He is also very proud to note he obtained & maintains his CFP® certification, a standard of excellence for financial planners.
Lastly, Austin holds life, annuity, health, & disability insurance licenses.
Austin now holds adult financial education workshops around the Phoenix metropolitan area, & offers complimentary, one-on-one coaching sessions to those in need of guidance. His main objective is to help those nearing retirement make informed retirement decisions by cutting through the confusing jargon of the industry and making quality advice accessible for all those that need it.
Though originally born in the cold tundra of North Dakota, Austin now resides in sunny North Phoenix with his wife Irene. They recently celebrated the birth of their first child, Milo, and couldn’t be happier to be new parents. Austin has two small dogs and loves to take them to the dog park and on hikes around the valley. He also enjoys snowboarding and video games when he can find time to do so.
